NEET exam is a gateway to the vast field of medical education and colleges. There is a competitive examination which can be easy if you follow these tips from our Home-Tution experts.
It seems like thousands of students in India need help to clear the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) every
year. If NEET is not cleared in your first attempt, you will have to retake it. This leads to immense pressure and stress
on both the student and their family. The drop years sometimes can even result
in eventually burnout and loss of enthusiasm.
Many students have been pursuing this
qualification, but most of them have been thrashed in the examination because
they lacked preparation. It’s really unfortunate that they didn’t know how to
clear NEET in the first attempt with only seven simple steps as mentioned
below:
NEET Exam |
1. Develop a positive attitude towards your studies:
This can be achieved by having good sleep, a
healthy diet, free from stress and exams. This will also help you to fight
against your negative attitude towards your studies or examinations held once a year.
2. Create an environment that is conducive to studies:
Make sure that you have enough space to place your
books, table, and chair where you can sit comfortably for your study. Maintain a
study environment by keeping it clean and tidy. Keep a strategic and practical schedule.
This will help in tracking your progress as well as in maintaining the structured
and proper way of studying
3. Follow the syllabus strictly:
Each topic must be clear in your mind before you
start writing the NEET exam. Do not waste any minute or day taking notes,
just because you think it's a waste of time. Rather make notes on the
concepts that are not clear to your mind.
You need to use your time wisely. Be thorough with
each and every topic.
Starting early in the morning sometimes will enable
you to have enough time to study for the entire day.
4. Mock Tests and PYQs:
Practicing through mock tests and important questions is a must if you want to be thorough with your preparation and
want to have a practical analysis of your preparation for the main competitive
exams, Timely tests can help you find and recognize your weak points
and doing things that can help you in gradually mastering the concept and
improve in your weak areas.
5. Practice before the exams:
Complete all the easy questions first so that you
get prepared for selective questions in the NEET exam. Do not get confused with
hard questions, because this will only get you frustrated.
Practice, practice, practice. The other most
important thing you should do during your preparation is to practice very hard.
It is better for you to do so at least twice a day. If there are many days when
there are no questions in the exam, go for a walk or have a chat with friends.
If there are questions, go through them at least 2 times and then perform good
calculations.
6. Praise your Teachers:
Teachers are helpful to everyone, so it’s better to
learn from them rather than blaming them for not explaining the concept well.
They are only trying their best to teach you everything which is necessary that
they can, don’t think anything other than that.
7. Wake up early and eat healthy food:
This will improve your brainpower to be sharp and
you can score more in the NEET exam. Do not disregard your health, this is an
exam, not your entire life. Be consistent and be honest in your preparation. Relax
and just chill, do not overstress or overburden yourself.
